From Thursday, July 12, 2018 through March 17th, 2019 the Staten Island Museum will be hosting an exclusive exhibit on the Impractical Jokers.
Now running for more than half a decade, the guys (…aka The Tenderloins: Sal, Q, Joe, and Murr) are bound to be recognized every now and then.
If you’re a frequent flier of This Way on Bay, you’ve more than likely spotted the Impractical Jokers popping up now and again. If you don’t know, the Impractical Jokers are a Staten Island comedy group consisting of four lifelong friends who try their best to embarrass each other on their truTV television show, which is going into its sixth season.
Podcasting has become a big deal in the past few years. Yeah, it’s still something that you can do from your bedroom. But similar to how anyone can have their own website, the best ones are still of a higher quality and consistently provide us with interesting content. You might not even realize that some of these great shows are produced right in your own backyard. So, with that in mind, here are 10 local podcasts (in no particular order) that all Staten Islanders should be checking out.
It’s throwback Thursday, so I thought I’d re-share one of the catchiest songs to come out of the Staten Island music scene in the last decade. “F For Effort” is a Les Vinyl track from the band’s “The Nafia EP.” Since it’s release in 2011, “F For Effort” has become the theme song for “What Say You Pod,” a podcast hosted by Impractical Jokers stars Sal Vulcano and Brian Quinn.
It seems like Bay Street darlings, The Tenderloins, who are famous for their TruTV hit Impractical Jokers, have recently filmed a one hour comedy special. The group has been tourning the country for the last few years, and has been steadily gaining popularity. Recently, Sal Vulcano tweeted out this message about the recording
