STATEN ISLAND MUSEUM
From Thursday, July 12, 2018 through March 17th, 2019 the Staten Island Museum will be hosting an exclusive exhibit on the Impractical Jokers.
Thursday night, August 17th, will be the first time in 38 years a true solar eclipse will be observed in North America. The Staten Island museum is celebrating the occasion with a night of dancing, singing, and adult beverages!
Staten Island has had a lot of development happening lately, with the development of the New York Wheel, the Empire Outlet Mall, and the Outlet Mall’s 190 room Hotel, there is a lot going on. Did we mention that the Outlet mall is expected to open its doors in 2016?

For those of you who haven’t heard, the grand opening of The Staten Island museum at Snug Harbor is fast approaching. One of the more unique exhibits that the museum will feature is a 10 foot tall Mastadon, representative of the early Mastadon inhabitants of Staten Island’s hills.
Not a single day goes by that one is not impressed by the vast array of talent which is so rampant in Staten Island and specifically on the North Shore. Cultural organizations such as the ones listed here add culture and education to our community and should never be overlooked.
This coming Saturday, December 13th, is the last Second Saturday of 2014 along the Bay Street Corridor in the North Shore. Sure to again be an eventful day, the highlighted venues included here will be hosting art exhibitions, artist markets, dance, spoken word, and other arts inspired events.
