The Holidays on the North Shore is the most exciting time of the year. Between the tree lighting’s and the visits from Santa Clause, it can be a bit overwhelming to figure out which events to attend, This Way on Bay has got your back. For those of you who haven’t heard, the grand opening of The Staten Island museum at Snug Harbor is fast approaching. One of the more unique exhibits that the museum will feature is a 10 foot tall Mastadon, representative of the early Mastadon inhabitants of Staten Island’s hills.
Along the Bay Street Bike Tour, which is marked with approved bike routes by the city of New York, there are many things that cyclists can see. We start the route on Richmond Terrace in the lovely St. George area. As you begin the route, you can backtrack to view Snug Harbor which is about two miles away.
