WATCH: Beautiful Drone Footage of Staten Island’s Mt. Loretto

The popularity of drones has increased steadily since we launched this website, and many drone videos of Staten Island have been created in that time. One location that we haven’t yet seen from the sky is Mt. Loretto. The footage in the video above features just that, was shot by Paul Fargo, is accompanied by a Pink Floyd soundtrack.

If you’re interested in learning more about Mt. Loretto, you can find a lot of useful information on the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s official page about the area, as well as tidbits (like how the land is featured in The Godfather, and historical context) on the official Wikipedia entry.
