Snug Harbor to Host ‘Big Picnic’ Event This Weekend

On Saturday, June 16th, Snug Harbor will be hosting the ‘Big Picnic’ event featuring games, crafts, live entertainment, food, and more.

Staten Islanders are encouraged to “bring your picnic basket and a blanket” from 12-3 PM. Your ticket will provide access not only to the event itself, but to all on-site museums, galleries, and gardens. The Big Picnic is going on rain or shine and presented in partnership with Art Lab, the Noble Maritime Collection, Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden, the Staten Island Children’s Museum, and the Staten Island Museum.

The Jambalaya Brass Band will also be there all day to keep everyone dancing and in good spirits throughout the day.

So come out out and bring the kids. You won’t want to miss this afternoon of fun and excitement at Snug Harbor. Tickets are $5 and can be bought by clicking here. Snug Harbor is located at 1000 Richmond Ter, Staten Island, New York 10301

With access to the entire site, why not check out the Chinese Scholar’s Garden this weekend?
