Lil Wayne Visits The 50/50 Skatepark
You might now know this, but rapper Lil Wayne is actually pretty decent with a skateboard. The Young Money CEO recently visited Staten Island’s 50/50 skatepark for an after-hours grind session.
“Every time in he’s in New York he hits us up,” said Ed Pollio, co-owner of 5050. “Most people start skating around 15, but he was on tour, rapping at that age. So skating has come to him later on in life, but you can tell he really enjoys it.”
Take a look:
This custom built skatepark is actually NYC’s only indoor skate park, it’s located on 354 Front Street. You can visit them on the web, here.
