You might not have noticed, bu YouTube has been allowing users to upload 360 degree videos since March of Last year. Today is the first time that I’ve seen a 360 degree video that was shot on Staten Island. What’s even more exciting, is that this particular video is also a drone video. Combining their specialty for 360 degree tours, with their recent work with drone video, Black Paw Photo released the clip above, which allows users to share the view with a drone flying high above Staten Island’s Silver Lake Park.
TWOB readers might remember Black Paw from our feature on their “Photo Spheres” of Staten Island. If you haven’t seen those, you should definitely check them out. It’s great to see how these Staten Islanders are experimenting with the new Google technologies.
