Island Sensory Shoppe is a retail store dedicated to providing products that service the special needs community. Recently the Wall Street Journal did a digital feature on the shop and it’s owner Melissa Palermo. Melissa used to wish there was a local store where she could buy therapeutic products and toys for her special-needs son, Ryan. In October, she opened one herself.
You can find the shop at 16 Sylvia Street in Eltingville, and contact them at (718) 605-6550.
