Yesterday, it was reported that Staten Island based reality show Mob Wive may be coming to an end after six seasons on VH1. The video above, posted by wochit Entertainment on YouTube reflects on the series’ iconic run.
Today, The Staten Island Advance reported that there may still be hope for fans of the series:
“This isn’t necessarily the end of ‘Mob Wives,'” said Jennifer Graziano, the show’s producer and sister of cast member Renee Graziano, in an email to the Advance. “This is our best season ever and it’s definitely not the last you will see of the girls.”
Asked to elaborate, Graziano said that working with VH1 on the franchise “has been a pleasure.”
“We broke down barriers, took risks and together made history,” she said. “I wouldn’t change a thing.”
She could not comment on whether or not this means the show will be moving to another network or perhaps an online platform like Netflix or Hulu.
Only time will tell the fate of the wives. If it’s over, they had a great run.
