Dog and Pony Show Has Relaunched, Here’s What You Can Expect

As promised, Dog and Pony Show website relaunched on Monday, with a shiny new site, and a self-deprecating/irreverent video being released. Returning for the 2015 version of the site, Chris Olivieri (that’d be me), Tavis Delahunt, and Vin Forte have returned and are contributing in similar capacities as before. Co-founders Carlo Montagnino and Damian Thomas will also return with somewhat diminished roles. You’ll be reintroduced to Carlo in a The Simpsons themed video which drops early next week.

To coincide with the relaunch, Vin Forte is producing a new podcast called “Any Time with Vin Forte” which will be released on the site as episodes are posted. “I’ve tried doing podcasts in the past, but nothing had stuck because I just didn’t have the tools and the scheduling was all wrong.” Explained Forte, “Now I have the right equipment, it’s a manageable bi-weekly release, and I do all interviews over Skype so the roster of who I’m throwing out a line to try and get is now limitless. Comics, authors, TV writers; I even heard a promising reply from the publicist of a theoretical physicist I’m looking to have on and discuss the Many Worlds Theory with. So it’s a delightfully wide net I’m casting and we’ll see what comes of it.”

Starting next week, you can expect some new faces to contribute to the site, which will share content from the depths of the internet and spotlight the creators of that content. This first week has spotlighted a few Staten Island names like up & comer, Method Man, and worldwide celebrity, Casey Jost. Here are some of the posts we’ve shared so far this week, so you have an idea of what to expect:

There’s a heavy reliance on Link Dump posts so far, but they’ll be more spaced out as the staff finds it’s bearings. We’re very happy to be back doing our thing, and we’re excited to make a bunch of fun content for you guys moving forward.

Finally, here’s the collective’s first video back from retirement:
