As you may have heard, there’s a new Air Guitar World Champion… and he’s from Staten Island. On Friday, August 26th, Matt “Airistotle” Burns, was crowned the best Air Guitar Player in the world. While this started to become common knowledge on Staten Island in the past year as Matt amped up to his championship run, it’s now national news. On Saturday night, ABC’s Nightline aired a segment (seen above) nationally, introducing our own Airistotle as the new World Champ. The piece showcases Burns after his championship run in Oulu, Finland for US Air Guitar.
