This weekend, Winter Storm Jonas dropped a historic amount of snow in the northeast. New York City received a historic amount of the white stuff, with Staten Island’s accumulation totaling over 31.3 inches in some locations with snow drifts of over 4 feet.
Drone photographer Johnny Drone was sure to document these historic totals from the air. Like the rest of his videos, the footage in the video above is beautiful. In this video you’ll see aerial views of a snowy Silver Lake Park inter-cut with fun video of Staten Islanders shoveling and playing in the snow.
