It’s only been several days since the passing of singer George Michael, but Staten Island’s own PS 22 Chorus has already paid special tribute to the late singer.

Today, Saturday December 3rd, marks the 2016 Minthorne Street Winter Festival. The event where live music, food, art, and games collide into a delightful afternoon of activity and holiday shopping for the entire Staten Island community.

The ever-persistent nostalgia wave is hitting the borough hard in the form of Boy Band Review, the country’s greatest boy band tribute show. On December 10, Boy Band Review will be headed to Liberty Tavern, located at 382 Forest Avenue, for a night of “Dirty Pop” and dancing.

This past month, Staten Island’s own Nani Castle and Producer Udachi teamed up for a hot new track called ‘Crying in the Dark.’
