With the release of the much-anticipated reboot of the 1980’s classic Ghostbusters in theaters, there have been a ton of internet content from online creators jumping on the bandwagon. Staten Island’s internet superheroes, Dog and Pony Show, were sure to join the party.

Ultra Vulture Mega Death Dive is a Staten Island based video sketch group that brings us the hilarious trio of friends Matt Lynch, Zack Chapman, and Joe DeAngelo as they entertain us and make us laugh with their funny in the form of short, scripted sketch comedy videos.

It’s throwback Thursday, so I thought I’d re-share one of the catchiest songs to come out of the Staten Island music scene in the last decade. “F For Effort” is a Les Vinyl track from the band’s “The Nafia EP.” Since it’s release in 2011, “F For Effort” has become the theme song for “What Say You Pod,” a podcast hosted by Impractical Jokers stars Sal Vulcano and Brian Quinn.

Staten Island based writer/musician/comedian, Casey Jost is premiering a pilot for his new man-on-the-street game show, Bet on Me tomorrow night.

Staten Island’s favorite Josts, Colin (of Saturday Night Live) and Casey (writer for Impractical Jokers) have a new video circulating the internet on an unlikely channel, Golf Digest. Colin is the Googly-eyed coverboy on this month’s Golf Digest comedy issue.
